About Us

OUR HISTORY

Multivest Microfinance Bank Limited began operations on July 21, 1992, originally established as Ojoo–Shasha Community Bank Nigeria Limited

The bank was incorporated in the same year as a limited liability company with registration number RC 197102.

Following industry-wide reforms by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) mandating the transformation of community banks into microfinance banks, our institution increased its share capital and met all regulatory requirements for conversion.

We received provisional approval to transition to Ojoo-Shasha Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited in November 2007 and full microfinance licensing approval in August 2009. In September 2009, with CBN authorization, our name was officially changed to Multivest Microfinance Bank Limited to reflect a broader market vision and enhanced corporate identity.

Today, we operate from our permanent site at:
11, Arulogun-Army Barracks Road, Ojoo, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Our current approved share capital stands at ₦150,000,000.
